Essential Oil for Respiratory Issues

 

Dorado azul is recognized largely for its role in respiratory support. This essential oil can be used in many situations to support in the sinuses or lungs. Not surprisingly, dorado azul has high levels of eucalyptol and has a long history of use in folk medicine. The dorado azul plant has been used historically as a daily, mild beverage—especially during the fall and winter months. Today, many users comment that dorado azul provides as much respiratory support as mint and eucalyptus. Users also observe that this Ecuador oil delivers comparable results without the intensity and discomfort sometimes experienced with other oils.

R.C. is a blend of oils that gives relief from colds, bronchitis, sore throats, sinusitis, coughs, flu, cold sores, pneumonia, mucus and respiratory congestion. It decongests sinus passages, combats lung infections, and relieves allergy symptoms. R.C. is a good oil to alternate with Raven whiich is anotherYoung Living oil. R.C. can also be used internally and many have said they have had success with eliminating bone spurs this way. The oils in R.C. are Eucalyptus globulus, Eucalyptus radiata, Eucalyptus citriodora, Myrtle, Pine, Spruce, Marjoram, Lavender, Cypress, and Peppermint.


Raven is a blend of oils that treats respiratory disease and infections such as tuberculosis, influenza and pneumonia. This oil can also help with the symptoms of asthma. This is a good oil to rotate with another Young Living oil R.C. One of the oils in this blend is Ravensara. Ravensara is referred to by the people of Madagascar as the oil that heals. It is antispetic, anti-infectious, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and expectorant. It has been used to treat influenza, sinusitis, bronchitis, and herpes. The other oils that are in this blend include Eucalyptus radiata, Peppermint, Wintergreen and Lemon.
