Some people asked what age is it suitable for, from the official instructions, it says for age 4 to 12. Personally, I guess if your kid is expose to hard candy, he/she should be fine with it, the nutrients provided is what a child will need, the concern will be more on the choking possibility, having said that, anything solid can cause choking for a child, a grape and a fishball chokes too, please make sure your child is fine with solid and do monitor if he/she is ok with the chewable.

Have you ever seen the word “alcohol” in the ingredient list of an essential oil?

When I first started with Young Living essential oils, I was suffering from eczema flare up for months, and my aunt brought me to an Homeopathy doctor in Hong Kong. The lady uses essential oils and she is a certified aromatherapist and if I didn’t remember wrongly, she also teaches aromatherapy classes.

As I wanted to know how “recognised” YLEO is, I showed her the bottle (I had a bottle of Peace & Calming with me) and ask for her opinion, she turned to the back of the label and said “This is not good, it contains alcohol.” I was disappointed and started to doubt about what I had been using on my family! When I got home, the first thing I did was to search on the internet about the “alcohol” listed on the P&C, which is “Benzyl Alcohol”.

Firstly, what are the essentials oil inside Peace & Calming?

So what is this “Benzyl alcohol”?

Benzyl alcohol does naturally occur in green and other teas, and some essential oils including ylang ylang and jasmine.

Benzyl alcohol is a component of these essential oils, but it is a minor constituent of these essential oils.  Toxic reactions and allergies to benzyl alcohol usually occur when the isolated chemical is used in a higher concentration as a preservative (1-5% of the formulation.)

So why do P&C contains Benzyl alcohol?

Because Benzyl alcohol is naturally occur in Ylang Ylang! and that is one of the 5 ingredients in P&C!

Ok… it was a dumb shocked that I got from the homeopathy doctor and I will never go back to her again. Honestly if she is an aromatherapist, she should know that it is one of the natural component, so its either she wanted to trick me or she does not know her work well, whatever it is, that was my first and last visit to her clinic.

The breasts, located on the front of the chest, are medically known as the mammary glands. The term “breast” is sometimes used to refer to the area at the front of the chest.

The breast does not contain muscles. Breast tissue is located on top of the muscles of the chest wall. Blood vessels and lymphatic vessels (a system of vessels that drains fluid) are located throughout the breast. The lymphatic vessels in the breast drain to the lymph nodes in the underarm area (axilla) and behind the breast bone (sternum).

Found this interesting information about essential oils and cancer while I was researching on Cedarwood essential oils.

SESQUITERPENES

Sesquiterpenes are compounds of three isoprene units, which is fifteen carbons and twenty-four hydrogens per molecule- molecular weight 204 amu. There are more than 10,000 kinds of sesquiterpenes. Sesquiterpenes are the principal constituents of Cedarwood (98%), Vetiver (97%), Spikenard (93%), Sandalwood (Aloes) 90%, Black Pepper (74%), Patchouli (71%), Myrrh (62%), and Ginger (59%). They are also found in Galbanum, Onycha, and Frankincense (8%).

Sesquiterpene molecules deliver oxygen molecules to cells, like hemoglobin does in the blood. Sesquiterpenes can also erase or deprogram miswritten codes in the DNA. Sesquiterpenes are thought to be especially effective in fighting cancer because the root problem with a cancer cell is that it contains misinformation, and sesquiterpenes can erase that garbled information. At the same time the oxygen carried by sesquiterpene molecules creates an environment where cancer cells can’t reproduce. Hence, sesquiterpenes deliver cancer cells a double punch-onethat disables their coded misbehavior and a second that stops their growth.

Our brain is such an awesome system that it handles everything in our body, besides physically movements, we can control our emotions and thinking. So how does it work?

The Limbic System – a set of brain structures located on the both sides of the thalamus, immediately beneath the medial temporal lobe of the cerebrum primarily in the midbrain.

As you can see from the picture above, different part of the limbic system translate different messages in our brain. Amygdala manages our emotions and its nearest to the olfactory bulb, which handles smell. With the close relation for Amygdala and Olfactory bulb, smells also greatly affects our emotions! That explains how inhaling essential oils helps to uplift our mood and calms our emotion.

The Oils Actually ladies went to Philippines to share the greatness of Young Living in Oct 2017, together with our leader Yonie Bonawi and other great leaders. It is a short and fulfilling trip, we managed to do 4 sharing sessions in the 4D3N trip, we witnessed the great power of YLEO by Yonie.

A lady came to our sharing with walking stick with great pain on her knees, she did not want to come, but her family managed to pursuade her. She sat by herself quietly, not paying attention to the sharing, and looks tired. Yonie applied PanAway and Lemongrass essential for her after the sharing, within minutes, she was able to stand up without her walking stick, walked around the room and her face changed instantly. She was so happy and started walking around the room, talking to others, with smiles on her face.

The husband shared with us the next day that even the neighbours are curious what happened to the wife, why is she walking without her walking stick suddenly.

This was just one of the great testimonial we have, really love how YLEO are improving quality of life so easily.
